A warm welcome awaits!

The Café at The Old Workshop

Our general hours in the cafe are Thursday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm. There are exceptions for exhibitions throughout the season.

We are excited to have lots of varied events here at Sullington Manor Farm so keep your eyes peeled & let us know if you’d like to receive our news before anyone else.

The wonderful Charlie from Big Field Flowers will be with us in the cafe on Saturday 10th August, 10am – 2pm selling fresh bouquets with a beautiful & natural style. She’ll also have individual stems to create your own bouquet and feel that you’ve been able to really put your own stamp on your bouquet. Imagine how beautiful that will look at home!

We then have the amazing 440 Theatre in Sullington tithe barn on Sunday 11th August, 5-7:30pm performing ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and ‘Twelfth Night’ in just 80 minutes with only four actors! Come & see the comedy with all the family for an afternoon of great laughter & don’t miss the ice cream in the interval. Lots of props, physical theatre & surprises! Book tickets here.

In September, Storrington Camera Club are curating an exhibition with all members displaying beautiful and varied pieces. All for sale & something for everyone. Find out more here & don’t forget to pop the dates in your diary!

This 16th century barn houses an informative and interactive exhibition on the history of Sullington and farming on the Down; the early 20th century lean-to extension has been converted into a charming and stylish, modern café environment. The main barn and outside area are dog friendly.

Our cafe is the perfect pit stop after a bracing walk along the South Downs Way or a gentle dog walk from Storrington or Washington.

A warm welcome awaits!

We also are able to hold parties for special occasions. Please do get in touch to find out more.

What to expect

We use great quality ingredients, sourced as locally as possible – some food miles can be measured in yards, from the vegetable patch! Everything is home-made so allow for a bit of ‘wonk’ but come and enjoy cafetiere coffee, homemade cakes, light lunches and afternoon tea.

The cycle racks and fix-it station make it an ideal stop for the intrepid cyclist. We’re passionate about regenerating the built heritage (you can read more about the restoration of the workshop here) and about supporting the local economy, including a great team of local, young people. Come and see for yourselves!
