Welcome to Sullington Manor Farm
Embrace the charm of countryside stays, unforgettable weddings, our delightful events space and the joys of an unspoilt Downland farm.
Sullington Manor Farm is located in the village of Sullington and is a traditional working beef and arable farm on 500 acres in the heart of the picturesque South Downs National Park.
The cafe will then be open on Thursday 22nd May, 10 – 1 and we have a ticketed talk, 2 – 4:30pm, exploring the nature of spring & summer birds in Sussex from Andrew Armitage who works closely with Steyning Downland Scheme. Ryan Ellis will be talking about ancient grasslands in Sussex, how much has been lost over the years and how farming is part of the solution to having healthier soil & grasslands. Find out a little more & book your tickets here.
Don’t miss our fermenting workshops with Therese Eriksen covering sourdough bread, kombucha, pickled carrot & ginger and sauerkraut. Go home with a sourdough starter, SCOBY for kombucha and a new love for the magic & simplicity of fermented food. Get in touch with Therese to book – shorehamhomoeopath@googlemail.com or find out more here.
Talks, workshops and evening hangs – all in the name of community. If you’re up for partnering or want to host an event in our space, let’s talk. We’re centred around people, food, nature and landscape.
As a family who have been farming here since 1950s, we feel a sense of place. We’re conscious of the inspiration of the farm and connections it holds. Tangible links with people of the past evident in the ancient buildings but also in the landscape. We’re a small fragment of the story here.
We are excited to have lots of varied events here at Sullington Manor Farm so keep your eyes peeled & let us know if you’d like to receive our news before anyone else. Have a look at our Events page
